Live longer with a plant based diet!
A plant based diet can help to prevent, treat, and reverse every single one of the top 15 leading causes of death: heart disease, lung diseases, brain diseases, digestive cancers, infections, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc..
There are variety of prescription drugs for all of these diseases.. insulin for diabetes, blood pressure medications, etc.
Unlike these drugs that only target individual problems and treat symptoms, not underlying causes, a plant-based, non processed, whole food diet composed of fruits, veggies, nuts, beans, etc. can essentially take care of all of these ailments in one fell swoop and may treat the underlying cause of illness.
The medical system is set up to financial reward prescribing pills and procedures. Doctors don’t make money by prescribing patients to eat kale, broccoli, etc.
It’s like you have a faucet in your kitchen that is overflowing all over your kitchen floor. The medical industry is happy to keep selling you paper towels, but all you need to do is just turn off the damn faucet!
Same thing is true for supplements in the fitness world. Think about how much money is made by selling oversized containers of powder that claim to help you build muscle or improve your energy during workouts. It costs them a nickle and they charge you over $50. Great business to be in, right?! What a racket!
I make $0 with this advice.. drop the bucket and just eat healthier. I’m running my 5th marathon in a couple weeks and workout either on my own or with clients every day.. and I am doing it with plain and simple whole organic foods. Mother Nature. That’s it!
