A New Approach to Fitness

As many of you know, I like to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle. I mean why would I start up a fitness business if I didn’t! My ultimate goal is to help you and your friends find a way to live healthy and fulfilling lives. I ask you to envision a healthier you. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes (after reading this of course) and really think about what your world would be like if you were a few pounds less, if you could take more frequent walks, if you were not embarrassed when beach season came around, but rather confident to walk the coastline with the greatest of ease. How do others react when they see you looking radiant and full of energy? Are you more friendly? Confident? Strong both mentally and physically? I want you to live in that moment and visualize that new and improved you… Now in your mind visualize every step of the way in achieving that final result. Disciplined workouts, healthy eating, getting support from positive people around you, positive self-talk, etc. Still with me? Now open your eyes and seize your dream. Just do it. No Excuses! Start right now. I’m writing this blog because there is a problem in the fitness industry that needs to be addressed. A crucial piece of the health/fitness puzzle is missing in many gyms across this great Nation of ours.  I’ve belonged to many different gyms throughout my life and have yet to find one that offers this important element. What I’m talking about is inspirationmotivation, and positive encouragement.  I’m always amazed at how apathetic and uninspiring some of these personal trainers are. We’ve all seen these people right? Walking around with a clipboard, checking their phones, looking at their watches, essentially doing everything but being actively engaged in their client’s workout. The only thing more appalling is that they charge 70-100+ per hour for this! I take a different approach. I do my best to provide a fun, enjoyable, uplifting, un-intimidating, social environment where people are comfortable and   eager to tackle anything that comes their way. I try to empower people to fulfill their visions of optimal health on their own and alter their lifestyle for the better. Take a risk, try something new, tune out the negative voices in your life and do something good for yourself.   Kev
